The management of an international NPO's VAT status is crucial

 An accurate determination of the VAT status will establish:

  1. The extent of the allowable deductions, i.e. the VAT percentage the organization may recoup in terms of its activities.
  2. The correct administrative processes required in order to avoid unpleasant surprises in the course of VAT audits carried out by the fiscal authorities. Audits on international NPOs are becoming more frequent.
